I. Transitional period issues for the old and new versions of the organic product certification mark. According to the requirements of the Announcement on Launching the National Organic Product Certification Mark Filing System (Announcement No. 9 of 2012 of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China), for old-version organic product certification marks already obtained from certification bodies before March 1, 2012, or product packaging already printed with the old-version organic product certification mark, continued use is prohibited after July 1, 2012 (including July 1). If use is genuinely necessary, it may continue only after being sorted out and made compliant with the new requirements for the use of the organic product certification mark. For organic products that used old-version organic product certification marks obtained before March 1, 2012, or product packaging already printed with the old-version organic product certification mark, and that were already ex-factory and sold before July 1, 2012, the use of their organic product certification marks shall comply with the requirements of the Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification and the National Standard for Organic Products issued in 2005. Organic products ex-factory and sold after July 1, 2012 (including July 1) must comply with the new requirements for the use of the organic product certification mark.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/11387/
II. Issues concerning permission not to affix the organic product certification mark. In accordance with GB/T 19630-2011 National Standard for Organic Products and relevant provisions, the organic product certification mark may be omitted in the following circumstances: organic fruit and vegetable products sold through on-site picking; processing raw materials not directly sold at retail; bulk or unpackaged products to which the organic product certification mark cannot be affixed, as well as fresh and live animal products; however, a copy of the organic product certification certificate shall be placed in a prominent position in the dedicated sales area.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/11387/
III. Issues concerning batch loss of organic product certification marks. If a certified enterprise suffers large-batch loss of obtained organic product certification marks due to force majeure, the certification body may apply to the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China for reissuance by providing relevant evidentiary materials.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/11387/
IV. Issues concerning submission of organic product packaging specifications. For some products that can only be sold in units of measurement such as head, tail, piece, or individual, when submitting information on the use of the organic product certification mark in the information system, the product “packaging specification” may be filled in according to average weight.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/11387/
