In order to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, producers, and sellers, further improve the quality of organic products, strengthen the administration of organic product certification, and promote ecological environmental protection and sustainable development, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) formulated and issued the "Measures for the Administration of Organic Product Certification" (AQSIQ Order No. 155, hereinafter referred to as the "Administration Measures"), and the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) also revised and issued the "Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification" (CNCA-N-009:2014, hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Rules"), both of which came into effect on April 1, 2014.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/11484/
The new "Administration Measures" and "Implementation Rules" further standardize the basic requirements for organic certification activities and administration, among which the requirements for certified enterprises are more stringent. All certified enterprises are requested to conduct a comprehensive self-inspection and self-rectification in accordance with the requirements of the "Administration Measures" and "Implementation Rules" before July 31, 2014. The key areas of self-inspection include: whether the establishment and implementation of the management system is effective; whether the traceability system (including records of the entire production process) is standardized and complete; whether the use and management of labels is standardized; whether the use of inputs in the production process (with emphasis on substances used for soil fertilization and pest, disease, and weed control) complies with the requirements of the "Administration Measures," "Implementation Rules," and the GB/T19630-2011 "Organic Products" standard, etc.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/11484/
From August to September 2014, our organization will cooperate with relevant authorities to conduct unannounced inspections. If any conduct violating the requirements of the "Administration Measures," "Implementation Rules," and the "Organic Products" standard is found, it will be handled in accordance with relevant provisions, and in serious cases, the certification certificate will be revoked. All certified enterprises are requested to carry out self-inspection and self-rectification properly.
