On December 3, 2024, the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission issued the additional regulatory control measures for organic products for 2025. Compared with the additional regulatory measures of the previous two years, the 2025 regulatory measures have adjusted the scope of products subject to supervision. - The implementation period shall be from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025;
- Controlled Chinese organic products:

- After the above-mentioned controlled products are ready for shipment, FOFCC shall be contacted promptly, and the certification body shall assign inspectors or third-party laboratories to carry out sampling and testing;
- After the test results are qualified, the sampling report and test report shall be submitted together with the application for the Certificate of Inspection (COI) for organic products exported to the EU;
- ቁጥጥር የሚደረግባቸው ምርቶች ኦፕሬተሮች (በምርት፣ በማቀነባበር፣ በንግድ፣ በማከማቸት እና በሽያጭ ላይ የተሳተፉትን ጨምሮ) ቢያንስ ሁለት በቦታው ላይ ፍተሻ ማድረግ አለባቸው፣ ከእነዚህም ውስጥ አንዱ ያለቅድመ ማስታወቂያ መከናወን አለበት።
- ቁጥጥር በሚደረግባቸው ምርቶች ላይ በቦታው በሚደረግ ፍተሻ ወቅት፣ ቢያንስ አንድ ያልተሰበሰቡ ሰብሎች ናሙና ለሙከራ መወሰድ አለበት። ያልተተከሉ ኦፕሬተሮች፣ በጥሬ ዕቃዎች፣ በመካከለኛ ምርቶች ወይም በተቀነባበሩ የተጠናቀቁ ምርቶች ላይ ናሙና እና ምርመራ መካሄድ አለበት።
- For production bases that produce controlled products and are applying for EU organic certification for the first time (including the first year of the conversion period), the on-site inspection must be completed before sowing in 2025;
- Products in which prohibited substances are detected shall not be sold as EU organic.
