On May 11, 2018, at the invitation of IBD, FOFCC dispatched personnel to the IBD office in Botucatu, São Paulo State, Brazil, for a friendly visit. This was FOFCC's first personnel visit to IBD since the establishment of a subcontracting partnership between FOFCC and IBD, and both parties held discussions in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions and exchanged views on topics including how to promote Chinese standard organic certification in Brazil and the South American region, new requirements for post-certification supervision of certified organizations in China that have obtained IBD certification, and this year's arrangements for welcoming the IOAS (International Organic Accreditation Service) on-site supervision visit to China.
