On 11 May 2018, at the invitation of IBD, FOFCC sent personnel to visit the IBD office in Botucatu, São Paulo State, Brazil, for a friendly visit. This was the first time FOFCC sent personnel to visit IBD since the establishment of their subcontracting partnership, and the two sides held talks in a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere. Both sides had in-depth discussions and exchanged views on issues such as how to promote Chinese standard organic certification in Brazil and South America, new requirements for post-certification supervision of certified organisations in China that have obtained IBD certification, and the upcoming IOAS (International Organic cnas Committee) supervisory visit to China this year.
