Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, since March 2020, FOFCC has been unable to send inspectors overseas to carry out certification activities. In early 2023, with the end of the pandemic and the lifting of outbound travel restrictions, FOFCC inspectors immediately began applying for visas and preparing for overseas inspection work. As of June 14, 2023, FOFCC has successively dispatched 6 inspectors to Guatemala, Russia, Mongolia, South Korea, and other locations to conduct on-site inspections for organic product certification. To date, 25 overseas inspection projects have been completed, including 6 projects under the China Organic Standard certification. Although pandemic control measures have ended, overseas inspections still face numerous difficulties, such as the generally low efficiency of visa processing in various countries, the risk of reinfection with COVID-19 variants after departure, and the fact that international flight routes and various transportation lines have not yet returned to pre-pandemic levels. In mid-May, an FOFCC inspector even encountered a blizzard during an inspection in Mongolia and was trapped overnight, among many other difficulties. Despite these numerous challenges, all FOFCC personnel continue to forge ahead with fiery passion! FOFCC remains true to its original aspiration and strives to contribute its modest efforts to bringing China's organic products and organic standards to the world!文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/21384/
