In order to summarize and discuss the experience and issues in the regulation and implementation of food and agricultural product certification, further strengthen the supervision of food and agricultural product certification work, make full use of certification tools, and serve regional economic development, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China has decided to hold the “2011 Food and Agricultural Product Certification Work Conference and Food and Agricultural Product Certification Technical Forum” in Fuzhou from November 26 to 28, 2011.
The conference will mainly summarize the work carried out and results achieved in food and agricultural product certification regulation over the past 10 years, deploy key future tasks, summarize the pilot demonstration work of GMP/HACCP certification for dairy product production enterprises in Heilongjiang and the experience in establishing good agricultural practice certification demonstrations, and discuss food and agricultural product certification regulation work.
