In order to summarize and discuss the experience and problems in the supervision and implementation of food and agricultural product certification, further strengthen the supervision of food and agricultural product certification work, make full use of certification tools, and serve regional economic development, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China scheduled the “2011 Food and Agricultural Product Certification Work Conference and Food and Agricultural Product Certification Technical Forum” to be held in Fuzhou from November 26 to 28, 2011.
The conference mainly summarized the work carried out and results achieved in food and agricultural product certification supervision over the past 10 years, deployed key future tasks, summarized the pilot demonstration work of GMP/HACCP certification for dairy product production enterprises in Heilongjiang and the experience in creating Good Agricultural Practice certification demonstrations, and discussed food and agricultural product certification supervision work.
