In order to safeguard the lawful rights and interests of consumers, producers, and sellers, further improve the quality of organic products, strengthen the management of organic product certification, and promote ecological environmental protection and sustainable development, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine formulated and issued the Measures for the Administration of Organic Product Certification (Order No. 155 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, hereinafter referred to as the Measures). 1. All organic product certification bodies shall, in accordance with the requirements of the Measures, complete the revision of their relevant procedural documents as soon as possible. 2. For products that obtained organic conversion product certification before April 1, 2014 and were permitted to use the organic conversion product certification mark under the former Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification, products produced within the validity period of the conversion certification certificate may use the conversion mark. 3. Where ingredients contained in processed products obtained organic product certification before April 1, 2014, within the validity period of the certification certificate, the processed products may be labeled in accordance with Article 32 of the former Measures for the Administration of Organic Product Certification (Order No. 67 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine). 4. For products that obtain organic product certification after April 1, 2014, the use of marks and labeling shall comply with the provisions of the Measures.
