As the “Organic Product Certification Implementation Rules” (hereinafter referred to as the “Implementation Rules”) CNCA-N-009:2019 and the "Organic Products — Requirements for Production, Processing, Labeling and Management System" (hereinafter referred to as the "Organic Product Standards") GB/T 19630-2019 will officially take effect on January 1, 2020. The Implementation Rules have undergone significant changes, with more rigorous wording and stricter requirements, introducing more detailed provisions regarding organic product producers, operators (traders), imported organic products, commissioned processing (OEM), organic goji berry production, product sampling and testing, and sales certificate management. GB/T 19630-2019 has also undergone major revisions in terms of standard framework and content.
