The "Procedure for the Evaluation of Inputs for Organic Product Production and Processing" and the "Procedure for Changes to the Catalogue of Organic Product Certification," issued by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China on April 24, 2013, will come into effect on June 1, 2013. Single-component substances used in the production and processing of organic products, including soil fertilizers and amendments, plant protection products, cleaners and disinfectants, substances used in organic animal husbandry, feed additives, food additives, processing aids, flavorings, microbial products, and other ingredients (excluding seeds, seedlings, and propagation materials), may apply for evaluation as inputs for organic product production and processing. Products not listed in the Catalogue of Organic Product Certification may apply for supplementary changes.
