Since the official implementation of the Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification CNCA-N-009:2019 and the Organic Products — Requirements for Production, Processing, Labeling and Management System GB/T 19630-2019 on January 1, 2020, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China and local regulatory authorities have further strengthened the supervision and management of organic product certification activities. Meanwhile, the new EU organic regulation EU 848/2018 has been implemented since January 1, 2022, with a transition period for completing certification under the new standard before December 31, 2024. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) published the revised NOP organic standards on January 19, 2023, enhancing and strengthening the supervision and enforcement of organic product production, processing, and sales. In order to further implement the laws and regulations on organic product certification and ensure that certified enterprises meet the requirements of organic standards, FOFCC will hold a training and briefing session for certified organizations on June 30, 2023, in Shenyang. At that time, information on the requirements and regulations of Japanese JAS organic certification and Korean organic certification will also be introduced to certified organizations.
