On September 28, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) convened the National Food and Agricultural Product Certification Conference in Beijing. Deputy Director Wang Daning comprehensively summarized and reviewed the development历程 and achievements of China's food and agricultural product certification and accreditation industry since the establishment of the CNCA, analyzed the current situation, and deployed next-step work. He pointed out that food and agricultural product certification concerns the interests of the broad masses of consumers and the healthy development of “agriculture, rural areas and farmers” and the food industry. To ensure certification effectiveness and continuously improve the quality level of certified food and agricultural products, the CNCA will focus on establishing three systems in food and agricultural product certification supervision, namely the supervision system, the responsibility system, and the certification effectiveness verification system, and build one platform, namely the food and agricultural product certification promotion platform. Deputy Director Wang Daning also required that quality inspection departments at all levels, accreditation bodies, and the Certification and Accreditation Association fully leverage the advantages of China's five-in-one certification and accreditation supervision system featuring “legal norms, administrative supervision, accreditation constraints, industry self-discipline, and social oversight,” establish a coordinated supervision mechanism, and strengthen supervision over organic product certification activities. At the meeting, 50 domestic bodies engaged in food and agricultural product certification signed the “Declaration of Integrity of Food and Agricultural Product Certification Bodies,” solemnly pledging to take quality as their life and integrity as their foundation, assume the primary responsibility in certification evaluation, and strictly comply with certification and accreditation laws and regulations; strictly implement certification procedures to ensure the certification process is complete, objective, and authentic; refrain from engaging in certification consulting and product development, marketing, and other activities that may affect the objectivity and impartiality of certification activities; strictly control certification quality and not issue certificates to enterprises that do not meet requirements; implement effective post-certification supervision to ensure that certified products and enterprises continue to meet certification requirements; and uphold integrity, exercise strict self-discipline, and consciously accept social oversight.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/am/11265/
