On December 16, 2021, the European Union officially published Regulation EU 2021/2325, which includes a list of certification bodies. According to this regulation, IBD's certification results for certified organizations in China are recognized as equivalent to the EU's new organic regulation EU 2018/848, and the EU has expanded the scope of IBD's approval for livestock and poultry products in China. To date, the certification scopes approved by the EU for IBD include: Category A (unprocessed agricultural products), Category B (livestock and poultry products), Category D (processed foods), and Category E (feed products).
