On December 16, 2021, the European Union officially published Regulation EU 2021/2325, which sets out the list of certification bodies. According to this regulation, the certification results issued by IBD for certified organizations in China are recognized as equivalent to those under the EU's new organic regulation EU 2018/848. Furthermore, the EU has expanded the scope of IBD's approval for livestock and poultry products in China. To date, the certification scopes approved by the EU for IBD include: Category A (unprocessed agricultural products), Category B (livestock and poultry products), Category D (processed foods), and Category E (feed products).
