FOFCC attends the meeting to solicit opinions on the Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification and related documents

   On December 27, 2011, FOFCC sent representatives to Beijing to attend the meeting for soliciting opinions on the Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification and related documents.

   During the meeting, the upcoming new Implementation Rules for Organic Product Certification (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) and the catalogue for organic product certification were discussed, and some of the amendment suggestions put forward by our organisation were adopted.
   It is reported that, in order to further regulate the order of the organic product certification market and improve certification validity, the new "Rules" are planned to include provisions such as requiring on-site sampling and testing for all products applied for certification; making it compulsory to attach traceable anti-counterfeit organic product labels with hidden codes; and formulating a detailed and actionable catalogue of products eligible for organic product certification.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/en/11341/
