From September 13 to September 20, 2023, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) dispatched a review team composed of two reviewers to China to conduct witness and verification reviews of three certification bodies. FOFCC, as the Chinese subcontractor of IBD, underwent this review. On September 14 and 21, 2023, the review team witnessed, in Bei'an City and Dalian City respectively, the on-site inspection work of three IBD-FOFCC inspectors at 1 livestock production unit and 2 processing units of two IBD-certified organizations. On October 16, 2023, the USDA review team held a closing meeting to summarize the review findings from the review process, affirmed the work of the inspectors of IBD and FOFCC, and highly praised the cooperation between IBD and FOFCC. Through this review, the FOFCC team further deepened its understanding of the U.S. NOP organic regulations. As the enhanced version of the U.S. NOP organic regulations is about to be implemented in 2024, IBD and FOFCC will help certified organizations adapt to the changes in the new regulations as soon as possible.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/en/22485/
