Recently, FOFCC received notification from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that, according to the latest interpretation of the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) on 17 June, certification bodiesThe National Organic Program Import Certificate (NOPIC) for organic products exported to the US should be issued before the goods are shipped.After the goods have departed, the exporter may apply to the certification body to modify the transaction date, net weight, container quantity, batch number, bill of lading number, and other remarks on the issued NOPIC.
