In terms of the types of organic products imported from the European Union, organic tropical fruits have the largest import volume, accounting for 34.3% of the total imports. Among the tropical fruit products imported by the EU, the proportion of organic products is as high as 9.9%. The second and third largest imports are oilseed meals and soybeans, which are mainly used as protein feeds.

Among the organic products exported by China to the EU, oilseed meals still account for the largest proportion, reaching 67.3% with a total volume of 13,469 tons. In addition, in 2022, China also exported approximately 15,000 tons of organic tropical fruits, nuts, and spice products, 13,300 tons of vegetable products, around 10,000 tons of oilseed kernels, and 3,762 tons of eggs and honey to the EU.
