- According to Normative Directive No. 19 of 2009, all organic agricultural products exported to Brazil must be certified as organic products in Brazil.
- IBD is Latin America's largest organic certification body, headquartered in Botukatu, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has been recognized by MAPA for organic products in Brazil. FOFCC provides Brazilian organic certification services to organic producers in the mainland of China and surrounding areas through subcontracting IBD certification services. FOFCC inspectors conduct on-site inspections, and IBD makes certification decisions based on FOFCC on-site inspection results.
