In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the National Certification and Accreditation Work Conference and further strengthen the supervision of certification effectiveness, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China, in accordance with this year's special supervision and inspection plan for certification and accreditation, organized the “2011 Special Supervision and Inspection Training and Planning Meeting for Food and Agricultural Product Certification Bodies” from May 16 to May 19 in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. More than 40 certification supervision personnel from the two bureaus in Hebei, Shandong, Guangdong, Fujian, Shaanxi, Xinjiang and other places attended the meeting.
The Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China will organize personnel to form three groups from May 23 to June 30 to conductBeijing, Hebei, Shandong, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Guangdong, Fujianand other places to carry out special supervision and inspection of food and agricultural product certification bodies and some certified enterprises. This special supervision and inspection involves six major categories of certification, including organic product certification, Good Agricultural Practice (ChinaGAP) certification, green food certification, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system certification, covering a total of 14 certification bodies and more than 30 certified enterprises.
