In order to monitor the work quality of parties involved in certification activities and promote the improvement of certification effectiveness and credibility, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation and the Measures for the Administration of Organic Product Certification, the State Administration for Market Regulation recently carried out certification effectiveness spot checks in the field of organic product certification. I. Certification effectiveness spot checks were carried out on 130 batches of products involving 28 certification bodies in the field of organic product certification (5 categories of products: organic grains, edible fungi, condiments, tea, and wine), with a certification body coverage rate of 25.21%. II. Relevant information has been notified to the relevant certification bodies, and the certification bodies have, in accordance with relevant provisions, handled the certified enterprises whose products did not meet certification requirements by revoking 30 organic product certification certificates.
