In order to monitor the quality of work carried out by stakeholders involved in certification activities and to promote the enhancement of the validity and credibility of certification, the State Administration for Market Regulation has recently conducted spot checks on the validity of certification in the field of organic product certification, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the ‘Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Certification’ and the ‘Administrative Measures for the Certification of Organic Products’. I. Random checks were carried out on the validity of certification for 130 batches of products handled by 28 certification bodies in the organic product certification sector (covering five product categories: organic cereals, edible fungi, condiments, tea and wine), with a certification body coverage rate of 25.2%.The spot checks revealed that 11 batches of sampled products did not comply with certification requirements, resulting in an overall non-compliance rate of 8.46%.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/en/20737/
2. The relevant information has been communicated to the respective certification bodies, which have, in accordance with relevant regulations, cancelled the organic product certificate certification for 30 certificates of enterprises that fail to meet certification requirements. For products whose certification has been revoked due to serious non-conformities found during spot checks (such as the violation of using prohibited substances, see appendix for details) certificate, certification bodies shall not accept organic product certification applications from the enterprise, its production bases, or processing sites for a period of 5 years.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/en/20737/
3.
