During the 2021 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day period, Liaoning Fangyuan Organic Food Certification Co., Ltd. (FOFCC) underwent a remote assessment by the independent administrative institution, the Food and Agricultural Materials Inspection Center (FAMIC). Two FAMIC assessors conducted a comprehensive and detailed audit of FOFCC's management system, organizational structure, and inspector evaluation, among other aspects. On November 30, 2021, based on the results of this assessment, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan officially issued a "Registration Notice" to FOFCC, formally approving FOFCC as a foreign certification body under the JAS Law. Organic products certified under FOFCC-JAS may legally bear the JAS-FOFCC certification mark and be exported to the Japanese market.
