สถิติเกษตรอินทรีย์โลกและแนวโน้มใหม่ 2024 is a global organic industry white paper jointly supported by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and the World Trade Center, and compiled by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL)[3]and IFOAM – Organics International (IFOAM - OI).[4]This year marks the 23rd consecutive year of publication for this report.
The latest global organic agriculture data show that 2020 was another bumper year for global organic agriculture. According to organic agriculture survey data from the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) covering 190 countries and regions worldwide, the organic farmland area and retail sales of organic products continued to grow and reached record highs (data as of the end of 2020).บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11789/
Current Status of Global Organic Farmland
In 2020, there were 74.9 million hectares of organic farmland worldwide (including land under conversion). The two continents with the largest organic farmland areas were Oceania (35.9 million hectares, accounting for nearly half of the world's organic farmland) and Europe (17.1 million hectares, 23%). Latin America had 9.9 million hectares (13.3%), followed by Asia (6.1 million hectares, 8.2%), North America (3.7 million hectares, 5%), and Africa (2.1 million hectares, 2.8%). Globally, organic farmland accounted for 1.6% of total agricultural land.
The three countries with the largest organic farmland areas in the world were Australia (35.7 million hectares), Argentina (4.5 million hectares), and Uruguay (2.7 million hectares). China and Spain were tied for 6th place (2.44 million hectares).บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11789/
Global Organic Food (including beverages) MarketThe COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a profound impact on our lives. Health and wellness issues remain the top concern for consumers. Since the outbreak of the pandemic in spring 2020, consumer demand for organic food has surged.
In 2020, organic food sales increased by 17 billion US dollars. In the coming years, organic food sales will continue to grow, as consumers will continue to recognize the positive role of organic food in health, nutrition, and wellness. However, the organic industry also faces many challenges. Supply chain issues will persist, while also facing competition from sustainable products and eco-labeled products.
