We have learnt that on 28 November 2018 the European Commission adopted a resolution regarding official control measures for certain organic products originating from China, requiring all EU member states to carry out product sampling tests on all organic products imported from China between 1 January and 31 December 2019. On 7 January 2019, a further notice was issued requiring all products subject to these control measures to undergo sampling tests before leaving China, otherwise certification bodies cannot issue a certificate of inspection (COI). Furthermore, certification bodies are also required to carry out an additional unannounced inspection inspection on producers, processors and traders of relevant products during 2019, in addition to the routine annual checks.文章源自FOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/en/11670/

In view of the above circumstances, Liaoning Fangyuan Organic Food Certification Co., Ltd. (FOFCC) plans to hold a training and communication meeting for IBD-certified organisations in Shenyang on 21 March 2019, to explain in detail the interpretations of IBD and FOFCC regarding the new policies of European and American organic regulations and the response measures to be taken next.
