On 1st March 2024, following the completion of witnessaudit work in Dalian, Mr Adhi Kurnia Tama travelled to Leling City, Shandong Province, to carry out an on-site witnessaudit of IBD inspectors. This witnessaudit was the first on-site witnessaudit for EU organic standard certification in China since IBD obtained the new version of the EU organic regulation EU848/2018 accreditation in August 2023. Through two successive witnessaudits, two young FOFCC inspectors passed the test. This audit also deepened their understanding of international accreditation rules and made them more familiar with the inspection procedures of international organic certifications such as those of the European Union, the United States, and Canada.
