- Require quality inspection and inspection and quarantine departments at all levels to further clarify their regulatory responsibilities for organic products, strengthen macro-level management of the organic product market, ensure the healthy and orderly development of the organic industry, and ensure the quality of organic products.
- Strengthen supervision over organic product producers and refine provisions on penalties for various types of illegal acts. Emphasize that organic producers are the first party responsible for the quality of organic products and bear primary legal liability, while certification bodies bear joint liability.
- Strengthen standardized management of certification bodies and organic product testing institutions, and enhance the effectiveness of organic product certification and the accuracy of organic product testing results.
The convening of this meeting laid the foundation for the revision of the Measures.
