As of March 1, 2012, organic product manufacturers shall affix the National Organic Product Certification Mark (including the Organic Conversion Product Certification Mark) and its unique number (organic code), as well as the name or logo of the certification body, on the organic products sold or on the smallest sales packaging of the products. Each organic product certification body shall, before issuing the Organic Product Certification Mark to organic product manufacturers, transmit the issuance information of the Organic Product Certification Mark to the Filing System. Local certification regulatory authorities shall strengthen supervision over the use of the Organic Product Certification Mark. For forgery, fraudulent use, use beyond the expiration date, or use beyond the authorized scope of the certification mark, they shall handle the matter in accordance with the provisions of the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation," and other laws and regulations.
