Organic Fructo-oligosaccharides Obtain FOFCC Certification!

  On January 16, 2017, Shandong Bailong Chuangyuan Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bailong Chuangyuan”) obtained the National Standard (GB/T 19630-2011) Organic Product Certification Certificate issued by FOFCC, with certificate number: 122OP1700005.
  Fructo-oligosaccharide is a natural active substance with multiple functions such as regulating intestinal flora, proliferating bifidobacteria, promoting calcium absorption, regulating blood lipids, and enhancing human immunity. It is a natural “bifidogenic factor” and is widely used in various foods, especially in infant formula foods.
  On April 28, 2016, the Announcement of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China on Issuing the (Announcement No. 9 of 2016 of the Certification and Accreditation Administration) officially included fructo-oligosaccharide in the scope of organic product certification in China. Through the efforts of Bailong Chuangyuan, organic sucrose from Brazil was procured, and using it as a raw material, without using ion exchange technology, organic fructo-oligosaccharide with a purity as high as 95% was successfully produced through a natural microbial enzymatic hydrolysis process, and FOFCC certification was successfully obtained.
  According to the provisions of Clause 4.2.1.2 of the National Standard for Organic Products GB/T 19630.2-2011, “When organic ingredients cannot meet the demand, non-organic agricultural ingredients may be used, but shall not exceed 5% of the total ingredients.Once organic ingredients become available, they shall immediately be replaced with organic ingredients.” FOFCC will require all relevant certified organizations to promptly replace and use organic fructo-oligosaccharide in accordance with the above requirements, so as to further improve the organic integrity of the relevant certified products.Artikel berasal dariFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/ms/11607/
