Recently, FOFCC learned that on May 14, 2019, the European Commission released its statistical report on organic product imports for 2018, publishing various statistics on the organic product import situation in 2018. According to the statistical results of the report, in 2018, a total of 115 countries and regions exported 3,258,532 tons of organic products. Among them, the largest quantity of organic products was imported from China, at 415,243 tons, accounting for 12.7% of the total. (Note: According to FOFCC statistics, in 2018, the total amount of Chinese organic products for which EU sales certificates were processed through IBD-FOFCC was 158,500 tons.)
