The proportion of bulk commodity imports was 48%, a significant decrease compared with 53% in 2019. The proportion of primary agricultural product imports rose from 38% to 42%.บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11774/

The Netherlands remained the largest importer of organic products in the EU. In 2020, nearly one-third of organic products imported into the EU were imported by the Netherlands (31%), followed by Germany (18%), Belgium (11%), and France (10%). Organic imports by member states that joined the EU after 2004 increased to 5%, compared with 4% in 2019.บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11774/

China's total exports of organic products to the EU fell to third place, at approximately 228,000 tons, still accounting for 8% of the EU's total imports, down five percentage points from 13% in 2019. Ecuador and the Dominican Republic respectively replaced China and Ukraine as the top two source countries for EU organic product imports in 2020.บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11774/

From the export volumes of organic products by the EU's top ten source countries for organic product imports in 2019 and 2020, it can be seen that China and Ukraine experienced the largest declines in organic product export volumes, while Colombia and India experienced the fastest growth. However, Colombia's main organic products exported to the EU were cane sugar products, while India's growth benefited from filling the market space left by the sharp decline in China's exports of organic pressed oilseed cake products.บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11774/

China's exported organic products were still mainly roughly processed pressed oilseed cake products for feed use, totaling 135,000 tons, accounting for 59% of China's total organic product exports to the EU, but export volume in 2020 decreased by 47% compared with 2019. At the same time, China also exported 8,000 tons of soybeans and oilseed crops to the EU that can be used to produce cake and meal products. Together with organic pressed oilseed cake, this accounted for 62.73% of China's total organic product exports to the EU.บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11774/
