- Before each year's Anniversary Date, proactively submit updated OSP and annual certification materials to the certification body, and cooperate in completing the annual recertification inspection (including possible unannounced inspections).

- If termination of the certificate is desired, formally submit a written application to surrender certification, to avoid certificate suspension caused by failure to cooperate with the annual review after the deadline.
- In scenarios such as export customs clearance or customer factory audits, if asked about "certificate validity period," you may directly cite this clarification and § 205.404(d), or ask the other party to log into OID for verification.
