To ensure the traceability of organic products, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA) requires certification bodies, when issuing certification marks to enterprises that have obtained organic product certification or permitting organic production enterprises to print the organic product certification mark on product labels, to assign a unique code to each certification mark in accordance with unified coding requirements. This code consists of 17 digits, including a 3-digit certification body code, a 2-digit year code for the issuance of the certification mark, and a 12-digit random code for the issuance of the certification mark, and requires that the three Chinese characters “有机码” (Organic Code) be added before the 17 digits.
The organic code of each organic mark must be reported to the “China Food and Agricultural Products Certification Information System” (website:http://food.cnca.cn), and any individual can check information such as the name of the organic product corresponding to that organic mark, the certification certificate number, and the certified enterprise on this website.Artikel berasal dariFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/ms/11370/
