Risk analysis: The report mentions the use of Megalac calcium salts of fatty acids and Purina dairy dry period concentrated feed supplement during organic dairy farming, which does not comply with the requirements of the national standard GB/T19630 “Organic Products” Part 1: Production “8.4.3 When organic feed is in short supply, conventional feed may be fed. However, the proportion of conventional feed consumed by each type of animal in the total annual consumption shall not exceed the following percentages: a) Herbivores (based on dry matter) 10%; b) Non-herbivores (based on dry matter) 15%. Risk warning: Recommendation 1. Organically certified enterprises: should strictly follow organic product certification standards to regulate their own behaviour, and when using input substances, should use those on the standard permitted list and registered with the certification body, to avoid the use of non-compliant substances; it is recommended that a model of opening up the farming stage to the public may be appropriately adopted to increase social transparency and boost consumer confidence. 2. Certification bodies: when inspecting farming enterprises, focus should be placed on the use of animal feed, additives and other input substances at the farming site; special unannounced inspections should be carried out on existing certified enterprises, and it must be clearly stated to the enterprises that input substances must be used in strict accordance with organic standards. 3.
