On 16th June 2023, following approval by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), the International Organic accreditation Service Centre (IOAS) officially issued the Canadian Organic Regime accreditation certificate to FOFCC, marking another new milestone in FOFCC's development journey. In June 2022, FOFCC submitted a accreditation application to the IOAS. Due to the pandemic, the IOAS was unable to dispatch audit personnel to China to carry out on-site audit and witness work. In November 2022 and January 2023, two IOAS audit personnel conducted inspector witnessaudit and office audit of FOFCC respectively via remote audit methods. On June 16, 2023, the CFIA officially approved IOAS to issue the Canada Organic (COR) accreditation certificate to FOFCC. The accreditation qualification effective date is June 20, 2023. To date, FOFCC is already able to provide applying enterprises with organic certification or inspection services for countries and regions including China, the European Union, the United States, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Brazil, Sweden, and Taiwan (China). It has already established an organic certification service system for Chinese organic products featuring “one inspection, global acceptance”.
