On May 14, 2010, the unveiling ceremony for the “Walmart Direct Procurement Base” was held in Jiewen Town, Haicheng City. The Jiulongchuan Edible Fungi Planting Professional Cooperative became Walmart's first edible fungi farmer-supermarket direct sourcing base in Northeast China. The unveiling ceremony received great attention from the governments of Anshan City and Haicheng City at both levels, with principal leaders and responsible comrades from relevant departments all present and delivering important speeches, offering encouragement and support for this “farmer-supermarket” direct sourcing model. FOFCC was also invited to send staff to attend the unveiling ceremony and read out the organic certification certificate. The unveiling ceremony also attracted journalists from many well-known media outlets, including CCTV, LNTV, and Liaoning Daily, to conduct interviews. This was another successful example of “farmer-supermarket” direct sourcing for a FOFCC-certified enterprise, following the Jianping Zhuluke Organic Farm and Haicheng Sanxing Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., and yet another successful practice by FOFCC in supporting the industrialization of organic agriculture and bringing organic agricultural products to the market.บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11235/

Through “farmer-supermarket direct sourcing,” supermarkets directly purchase organic products from farmers, reducing intermediate links, which can greatly lower supermarket procurement costs and pass benefits on to farmers, truly achieving “high quality at high price” for organic products. This not only resolves the long-standing problems of organic products being “difficult to sell” and “low in price,”but also makes farmers realize that they must survive by quality and develop by quantity, encouraging farmers to boldly develop the organic industry and make it intensive and large-scale.บทความมาจากFOFCC-http://fofcc.org.cn/th/11235/
